Lauren Ash-Morgan is Founding Co-Artistic Director for the new theater company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) from 2014 until 2019. She had been an actor as well as a board member of SSC since the year 2011. Also, she was the producer, costume/set designer writer/composer, and the text coach for SSC during her time as the Artistic Director of SSC. The last year of her tenure she served as director and lighting designer in SSC's production of King Lear. She had been the director of the ensemble, however in last year made her directorial debut.
